Challenge: You Name It! II (Advanced Editing VII*)
Collection: Abstracts
Camera: Canon EOS-7D
Lens: Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM
Location: Saratoga Springs
Date: Mar 17, 2015
Aperture: 13
ISO: 100
Shutter: 2 sec
Galleries: Abstract, Nature
Date Uploaded: Mar 17, 2015

Moved camera during exposure while focusing on a a group of trees. I used a wide angle lens with a neutral density filter to slow down shutter speed a tad.

I know DPC members are not fans of abstracts so this will score poorly but it's my absolute favorite style of photography. I've decided to just start entering what I love rather than what I think will do well.

*Hello from Sid and the Critique Club*

An intriguing image that meets the challenge

What a great opportunity to enter whatever you like without worrying about a title. I feel very privileged to have been given your image for critique on account of my passion for motion blur, I adore it. You have created a very dynamic image to create a very appealing and unique abstract. The exposure is good and there is a good range of near mono tones making great use of the diagonal, always a very strong compositional aid.

I am very pleased to read your personal comments and concur wholeheartedly with your decision to hold true to your own tastes rather than those of the masses.

So, its title time! I am finding this difficult and I have the benefit of all your additional information which may or may not be advantageous, this is the best I can do;
fast forward

Thanks for a great entry and keep to your principles, Sid.
