I've only just got the social commentary here Kevin. Well thought out. Given the message, the focus is exactly where it needs to be.

Correct. Had the desire been to focus on the wrong thing, I could have focused on the front pieces. But the black pieces were correctly the point of the shot and were thus in focus, framing them with OOF front and back.
