School buses have potential to be great photographic subjects but it takes a careful approach in order for the subject to rise above the mundane and become unique. This is a very literal approach--appropriate if you want to show someone who has never seen a school bus what they look like but not very stimulating in terms of visual interest to the rest of us who see school buses on a daily basis. Photography (and all art, really) is about 'seeing' the world in a personal way and then communicating your unique vision to your audience in such a way as to provoke an emotional response. |

seems a little boring. Perhaps with kids getting on and off the bus it might have livened it up some more. Nice focus and DOF however. |

Yes, it's a symbol of school--but I'm not sure it represents education very well. Sky is blown out to ill effect. Just wish there was something more here, something to tell a story. |
