hope you don't mind, but i have some free time and thought i start making comments on randomly selected images...

i gave this shot a 6 because i thought it was technically proficient, on topic, and i liked the composition. you also scored high with the commenters; the problem is, obviously, you didn't get enough comments (that seems to be my biggest problem, as well). maybe it could have been a little sharper. and maybe it might have benefited from shooting straight on, rather than from an angle, with the blue book positioned more towards the left hand corner. hard to say. sometimes all you can do is scratch your head and move on to the next challenge. good luck, and keep on shooting!

Oh yes they were, at least when I was a teenager! Now I like the real thing. Good choice of subjects as Cliffs Notes were a mainstay in most schools.

it's a little soft, but i love the colors. 9

One of my favorites...good luck. Way to go on the complimentary colors and choice of subject matter...it even has the look of a selective desaturation photo what with all the yellow and the one stripe of blue.

I love the composition and colour of this image. And this is one of my favourites from the challenge. My only concern is that the image does not suggest school days as well as others.

Catch 22 was not on the curriculum when I was at school, so I associate it more with late teens and early adult hood.

Revisiting
I thought this would have done better.

clever concept - composition is missing something, though

Very humorous and a good commentary on cheating oneselft through shortcuts and the easyway. Like the contrastin blue and use of crop. One of my favorites thus far.

I like this one, but I think it would've been fiunnier if they were all notes for catch-22 (7)
