 I'm not very good at Duotone. I think I need a better vision for the end result. For this, I did envision a cool color mix, to compliment the cool temperatures (3F with 30MPH winds). But getting what I want is always tough.

So this is about as good as I can do, I think. I like the blue overtone and the purple details. I think it works well together.

And I like that the fence is a bit visible.

We'll see how this does.

I would crop this tighter at the top and go with straight B&W or a more subtle set of tones. This is "bruised".

...you know...I really like this. The brilliant purple is inspired really, particularly against the unnatural sky blue. I love how that fence just disappears into the snow.
