 Bridgeport CT. Hot summer day. such a beautifully detailed and shaded park in real life. The picture does not do the woman, the filtered light, nor the trees any justice. This was a drive-by phone portrait, the type of candids I seem to like to take. People unaware, being real, but yet having their "public" faces on. Lots of misses go into getting only one or two shots per trip, and the trying to get the PP to fit and gel.

I think the story works well for art. There's a lot to explore and a lot to discover. However, the photo itself doesn't really work. While it's a great story, I find the image itself lacking. The dark lower right corner, and the very bright trees all draw your eyes to the wrong places.

A most wonderful title coupled with quite a heart-warming scene. And it has such a pleasant compositional balance. It evokes freshness of life and vitality with slightly comic overtones.
