 A Red-shouldered Hawk (I think) at a local park. He stayed put till some joggers scared him farther into the woods. Loved that he was calmly watching me.

Score guess ... might as well go for the high end of expectations. Haven't had a 6 in awhile.

PP - converted from RAW, cropped, Nik CEP (graduated ND filter from left), Viveza to darken/lighten various bits, cloned out a few bright twigs over his head, converted to B&W, resized, Nik Sharpen on bird and foreground except for catchlilght, blurred background more.

I give you a 5, and good luck! Good image that I think would be better in color. 6, maybe 7 if the colors were good. Overall? I predict 5.9.

I predict a 5.4. I would try to separate the bird from the background in the bw conversion.

Interesting shot of a Hawk I guess maybe a Broad winged, hard to say I guess it could be a Merlin. Good focus with a nicely blurred background, I haven't seen many B&W Bird shots, I hope it does well. I will agree with a 6.0 here and vote at seven. Good Luck

Quite a pleasant conversion to black and white for this bird image.

I would of lightened up the right side of it's wing a little darker than the left. Great bokeh. Overall you score might be on the button, mabye a little higher 6.099

I don't see this getting a size. Needs to have a bit more emotion;I find it flat.

When I'm in front of an image like this I want colors and it screams colors. It's a good photo, but I guess your prediction will be right - 6.00

Hello, I voted a few days ago, now returning for comments. I think that you estimated your score a little high, I gave you a six but I predict that you will finish at 5,7156

Cool shot but there is something about the bokeh that makes the background very distracting.

5 Uninteresting pose - the foremost branch cuts off the bottom of the raptor's body, leaving a bowling pin-like impression. Also, the background bokeh is distracting.
