For those wondering, the gator is no longer living, and has been turned into a statue. I took another picture with my son's hand in the gator's mouth, "feeding" it a rock, but it was pretty blurry due to the speed with which he got away from the gator. And yes, this is very much a shoehorn, I titled it in a way that some should pick up on that :)
for a laugh, I showed this image to my mother-in-law immediately upon our return, I think I almost gave her a heart attack. |
