 Came within the neighborhood of my estimate. I was slightly optimistic, but not off by a lot.

I was pleased with this, despite the expected low score. Most of the comments indicate that people saw exactly the same thing that I did: the shape of the southeastern United States.

It is an aerial view, sorta, kinda, not really. This is looking down at the edge of the Trinity river from a pedestrian bridge.

Now why do I see a prehistoric - or future - Florida and the Gulf area here? I love the contrast between the very smooth and the quite textures. Gave it a six. I do hope your guess is low. I'll go with 5.5

I like the murky mood and point of view - could almost be an aerial photo. I think you are probably right about the average vote so I'll say 4.9 and give a 6 myself.

5. The composition is fine, the tones a bit - well, muddy. Maybe if I were a four year old in gumboots this would excite me a bit more.

I really like this one. Very creative! It looks like the Gulf of Mexico from Texas to Florida pan handle. It even has a dark spot where the Mississippi would come out. Good luck with this one. This should score at least 4.88 I hope you have good luck with this one.

fun scale-able image; you could likely make the argument this is an aerial image, tone-shifted, of some bay; or just a puddle somewhere.

I really like this, it looks like Florida :)

It will most likely score around your guess bc DPCers tend to shy away from these images. I rather like it, it's sharp intriguing and abstract, my guess 4.98.

The puddle of Mexico.
I see the Gulf of Mexico, Florida , Key West, damn you even have the Mississippi river. Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, I even see the Bahamas.
I'm in higher than your guess.

You are underestimating this image. It's an excellent one. It only lacks one thing, a title. My suggestion is "Gulf of Mexico".
Others may see only dirt and mud in this photo, but is see Florida.

This is SO Florida/Gulf Coast/Texas it just slays me. You even have Key West, sorta, and the Mississippi River (slightly too far east).
