 In countries like India and in Africa, the poorest of the poor cannot afford to purchase shoes, when they are wondering where their next meal would come from. These beautiful brothers and sisters crush plastic bottles or cut old car tyres and make themselves footwear. The road surface is so hot that it would burn even the most toughest of soles. This photo depicts a fellow human being moved by what they see, that they remove their own shoes and give it to their brother. I was going to captioned this "he is not heavy he is my brother" but decided to go with the Samaritan caption instead. Our Lord said " what you do for the least of my brothers you do for me"

It took a while until I got the story because I didn't recognize the arm as an arm at first. The bottle footwear is really something special
