 Trying to picture the old traditional writing and learning techniques. Use A4 sheet and then dipped in colored liquid, dried hanging for a while and then iron-pressed to get some wrinkles and that crispy look. got a feather to use as a pen, but white feather was interfering with the paper, so used a brownish one.
White balance set at 8500 for warmer feeling. taken in with one table lamp on the right and placing it to get the best shadow effect.

Really well executed shot, although I'm not really a fan of the more flat style of still life. I think this one works well with the lighting and shadowplay, which adds depth. It does feel a little bit on the dark side though, and lightening up some of the lighlights just a little might give it more visual impact.
