the lighting is pretty interesting wiht he hot-spot towards the front, but the farming seems weird. i would have tried a bit lower and to the right. |

doesn't seem ver ytransitional to me |

could you get closer, perhaps, though I think that might have made the subject indistinguishable. |

really nice shot, great composition/color. Not sure where the transition comes in though, bc it doesn't appear that any have even been eaten. |

Ga-ross! My dad however would race you to the bottom of the pot! :) - that said, I think this photo is a little too dark, but 'thank goodness' we can still make out the little critters. :P |

I think this would have been a better shot as a macro, or at least more of a close up -- especially right around that area on the right with the lighter crawdads/crayfish. However, I also recognize may not be possible with your camera, nor would the idea of transition have been quite so clear. |

I think the idea of transition would be more clear if you would have actually showed the proces of cooking. Now it just looks like a bucket whith cooked shrimps. But maybe you had another transition in mind. |

The only transition that I can see is in the title |

Ack Lobsters. Would have been cool if you could have gotten really close. Or maybe a picture of it squirming as you drop it into a pot full of hot water. |

tasty pic - you short of guests? |

is the transition that they're not in the water or on a plate yet? |

not very interesting, maybe you could have shown them getting poured into a boiling pot of water to show the transition better

ewwww! This gives me the creeps! Technically it is not a bad shot, I think it could have been better if your framing was not quite so tight, more impact would have been the whole bucket |
|

mmmmmm... Crawdads! They shore do look good. The transition impact here could have been a little greater if you were eating one! |

Funny idea, and the title makes it a transition, but the photo by itself doesn't make that come to mind. |

Great shot! The crawfish are being cooked: life to death. Oh and very yummy in my tummy also. |

urgh. Think the transition only comes about with the title, rather than the picture - if you could have shown them being cooked maybe .... |

Crawfish? These might be yummy in your tummy, but as for this shot representing transitions without your title...eh. |

i think you should just have pictured the lobster... still nice |
