the lighting is pretty interesting wiht he hot-spot towards the front, but the farming seems weird. i would have tried a bit lower and to the right.

doesn't seem ver ytransitional to me
04/27/2002 08:13:00 AM
could you get closer, perhaps, though I think that might have made the subject indistinguishable.
04/27/2002 01:58:00 AM
really nice shot, great composition/color. Not sure where the transition comes in though, bc it doesn't appear that any have even been eaten.

louisiana? i used to live in lafayette. lez bontemps roullez!
04/26/2002 10:52:00 AM
Ga-ross! My dad however would race you to the bottom of the pot! :) - that said, I think this photo is a little too dark, but 'thank goodness' we can still make out the little critters. :P
04/25/2002 06:53:00 PM
shot of the whole bucket would be nice
04/25/2002 04:30:00 PM
crawdads and cockroaches? no thanks.
could have used more light for me.
04/25/2002 11:34:00 AM
I think this would have been a better shot as a macro, or at least more of a close up -- especially right around that area on the right with the lighter crawdads/crayfish. However, I also recognize may not be possible with your camera, nor would the idea of transition have been quite so clear.
04/24/2002 10:04:00 AM
I think the idea of transition would be more clear if you would have actually showed the proces of cooking. Now it just looks like a bucket whith cooked shrimps. But maybe you had another transition in mind.
04/23/2002 11:38:00 PM
The only transition that I can see is in the title
04/23/2002 06:25:00 PM
Ack Lobsters. Would have been cool if you could have gotten really close. Or maybe a picture of it squirming as you drop it into a pot full of hot water.
04/23/2002 01:05:00 PM
Looks like a yummy bucket of cockroaches to me!
04/23/2002 06:22:00 AM
tasty pic - you short of guests?
04/23/2002 04:48:00 AM
is the transition that they're not in the water or on a plate yet?
04/22/2002 05:16:00 PM
not very interesting, maybe you could have shown them getting poured into a boiling pot of water to show the transition better
04/22/2002 04:17:00 PM
Mmm, crawfish. :)
04/22/2002 03:50:00 PM
ewwww! This gives me the creeps! Technically it is not a bad shot, I think it could have been better if your framing was not quite so tight, more impact would have been the whole bucket
04/22/2002 03:44:00 PM
mmmmmm... Crawdads! They shore do look good. The transition impact here could have been a little greater if you were eating one!
04/22/2002 08:18:00 AM
mmm cradads a transition from living to lunch
04/22/2002 06:48:00 AM
Funny idea, and the title makes it a transition, but the photo by itself doesn't make that come to mind.
04/22/2002 05:42:00 AM
Great shot! The crawfish are being cooked: life to death.
Oh and very yummy in my tummy also.
04/22/2002 05:28:00 AM
urgh. Think the transition only comes about with the title, rather than the picture - if you could have shown them being cooked maybe ....
04/22/2002 04:53:00 AM
nice
04/22/2002 04:02:00 AM
lobster? i cant tell what that is.. i also cant tell the trasition
04/22/2002 03:16:00 AM
Crawfish? These might be yummy in your tummy, but as for this shot representing transitions without your title...eh.
04/22/2002 03:07:00 AM
i think you should just have pictured the lobster... still nice
04/25/2002 10:30:00 AM
dumb
04/22/2002 01:42:00 AM
ewwwww yuck.
04/21/2002 08:50:00 PM
