My wife's Phalaenopsis (or Moth) orchid.

Shot one morning, before leaving for work. Low winter sun was entering the room through the window blinds, casting nice patterned shadows on the wall behind the flower. The flower itself was lit by the bouncing ambient light around the room. The windows look south and are positioned to at camera left, slightly behind the camera position and perpendicular to the background wall.

Processed to correct the white balance and to emphasize the shadows without ruining the fragile and gentle orchid mood. At least i tried.

That's interesting with the diagonal shadows - it complements the flower well. The light on the flower itself looks a bit harsh, though.
