 Was visiting a friend in the hospital and thought the morning light as he was looking out the window was really nice, so snapped a few quick pics with my phone. I liked the feeling it portrayed so I'm really happy this did well. My friend was discharged the next day so happy about that as well.

Congratulations on another fine image...and ribbon. I guarantee that if I were to try this kind of image I'd be in the bottom half of the scores...even with the same model and window. Your B&W work with the use of light is superb.

How come when I do grainy noisey images, all I get is "oh I don't like the grain" but you can get away with it lol!

Evocative. Something comforting of one's favorite chair...
I like everything about this; the composition, the candidness of the gentleman, his gaze out the window, the B&W processing. This image has a story.
I would hope this would ribbon, my top pick.

Great story here, with the man in the city hospital. Not sure the chair connection is as strong as the man, balloon, plant or cityscape being the main subjects.
