Very cool, a tighter crop would have given more interest I think, as I can't really discern anything but the overall pattern at this scale.

Daggum! That's a whole lot of people!!! Wow. As much as I like this photo I can't help but wonder how this would look in a square crop, losing the left area where you can see the roof top and sliver of night sky ... also losing the piece in the bottom (looks like another building encroaching.

Still ... well seen. Good luck in the challenge.

I was waiting for tiberius to participate in this challenge. And if it's not him it's definitely Hong Kong - never been there but read recently the childhood memoirs of Martin Booth and googled Kowloon and all the places he mentioned and gasped in amazement and sometimes in horror.
I find this image perfect for what Gursky wants to show. Imagine it printed really large or imagine yourself there!
