 Roseate Spoonbill at the zoo. Posed quite nicely for us in pretty light, framed by the trees, in the outdoor aviary. Would've liked just a smidge of separation between his right wing and the tree behind him (her?), but whaddyagonnado?

Wonder of anyone will see the hearts in the bokeh ...

PP - converted from RAW, Nik Viveza to reduce structure on tree just behind him, Nik SEP (full spectrum, red filter, selenium toning), dupe layer (Gaussian blur, erased bird and foreground tree, flattened), resized, blurred a couple of bits of one tree, Nik Sharpen, blurred some oversharpened bits.

I love the caption. I wish it had a bit more sharpness, and I wonder how it would look if the subject was looking more to the center of the picture versus outside the field of view.
