 Moonrise, just as it peaked above the trees.

Two shots joined. One exposed for sky other for moon. Merged in Photoshop.
Disqualification Details
You may not use ANY editing tool to create new image area, objects or features (such as lens flare or motion) that didn't already exist in your original capture. In this case, the rendering of moon-within-a-halo is just too far from reality to be acceptable, and it's exacerbated by the very potato-like mask applied to the moon, which should be much more perfectly spherical.

While I love and do rate artistic photographs highly, this one just does nothing for me.
