 It's been pouring here in Washington, for three weeks....sigh, already missing summer. Just a quick image snapped outside on my street. I did have to clone out a worm that was struggling to survive. So I rescued that poor worm using a near-by leaf, and moved it to the soggy grass in my front yard, to then be eaten minutes later by a crow. I think I spent more time with that worm than actually taking any more images....glad that I got a image that I liked.

I am really surprised it scored this well. Thanks so much!!

what saves this from cliche are the dynamics of the details, the solidity of the composition and the understated tones. (and this itself is an understatement). I feel that every detail in the water has been relished for what it is.
