I'll have to take your word for it that they're blue. While grittiness is becoming of this style of photo, the noise visible here doesn't quite jive - maybe it's the way it's present in the sepia-tinted midtones as well as the tones at the dark end of what's shown here. Maybe it's the size of each grain particle. Either way, I think I would have ran noise reduction selectively on the leaves and introduced some grain starting in the darkest areas first, using blending modes and possibly masks.
I do like the composition, and the concept. |
