The bold shapes vs. the fluffy clouds are a good contrast, but my favorite part of the photo is the left half. I don't know if you had the time to wait until some of the 'sentries' flew over and landed on that more barren tree, but if you had done and somehow composed to have the clouds behind that tree I think it would have improved this.
The other tree just has too much going on with the chopped-off wide branches and the moss and vines hanging from it, and also the leaves on the lower half. The one on the left is beautifully simple. |

| Beautifully imagined, it's as if they're about to engage in an epic battle. I love the striking contrast between the bareness of the left side and the clutter and chaos in the right. I'm usually a big fan of glow but there's too much in this pic as manifested in the haloing in the trees and leaves. 7 |
