WOW....thanks guys, I am humbled by the comments and the votes, also thanks Jon for adding this to your favourites. these two guys here are Cliff and Loraine two beautiful people from my pool of geriatric models I have access to. But all over the world there are people in real life situations like this. They are the primary care givers to their spouse. This saves the governments of the world Trillions of Dollars. Most of them don't get a care giver's allowance from the government. This should change. Photography is fun, and some of us get paid for having fun. As photographers it is our duty to show the world what we see and feel. And make a change for the betterment of this world, and in peoples lives, love and kindness can solve most of the problems in this world. God's Blessings be on you all.

Congratulations on the red, Deve. In spite of the criticisms about a set up candid, I'm glad that you have the sensitivity not to exploit private realities.

Tiny yes mate it is, it is meant to show that this happens in real life, but it's a bit insensitive to be right in there photographing someone being spoon fed while he has tears running down his face. Most of my work is very confronting, my wife won't let me put it up here on challenges, because sometimes they are bit too in your face type of photos. But that's what interests me, issues we face in real life told through the photographers POV.

A very poignant, tender moment, made stronger by your title. Absolutely top-notch photojournalistic image, assuming the story behind it is being accurately told here.

Perfect light and excellent composition and processing. I like the sharpness in their character-filled faces and the lines in her hands.

Absolutely stunning - the expressions of both people - acknowledgment, trust, concentration and Love just elevates this photo. I love the lead-in lines of the woman's arm with the watch on it, time ticking away swiftly and the other lines of the man going the opposite way in his journey yet they still share a powerful connection. Superb and my favourite in this challenge.
