Greetings from the Critique Club.
I have mixed feelings when looking at this image. The dynamic range seems really good - I like how the images shows very dark darkness and very white brightness. The composition is nice, I like the symmetry of the waterway and the 'island' provides a nice central item for the eye to land on. But I missed color in the image, the darkness was a bit much dark for me and I kept thinking 'cemetary' for some reason.
This scored well in the challenge, so you connected highly with a number of voters. Well done with that! To get the kind of range and detail from a cell phone image is pretty cool. Great choice for the challenge. |

| Interesting that you've done a black and white photo of verdant things, but it does work well. Very dark, seems to show the ominous side of an idyllic, colorful green world. |
