Coming back to study the submissions again.
I still really like this scene. I still like the b&w.
However, whilst there are plenty of areas of darkness (plus reflections), I don't feel that is in the spirit of a challenge called "shadows". My personal preference would be to see an actual shadow of something, not just dark areas. |

| Fog, mist - such sensual elements in an image. Beautiful composition and symmetry. I always visualize this sort of scene/weather in b/w |

| This strikes me as a potentially good book cover photo. Very dramatic scene and well exposed. I would probably suggest a lower crop from the top, though. |
