Super, super photo! Great lighting, great contrast, marvelous expression captured accurately by the title. Emotionally stirring, especially for those of us who have been there, which is probably most of us!

I really like the way the light is used to accentuate the reflection of the little girl's face.

Mesmerizing. The strongly contrasted tones really set a deep mood. The light on her face really emphasized the feeling and the truth of the situation.

Top pick ! Hope this ribbons. Not the typical take on the challenge & that's a good thing. Love so much about this & the story it tells. Black & white is perfect, the tilts, the shadows, the tones. Well done. A 10 from me!
