Nice pop of blue, but those blue smudges on the surface really distracted me. I am also not sure this came off as terribly abstract to me. |

I like the idea. I think I would prefer less exposure on some of the top parts and removing the bits laying around rubber/plastic thingy (I don't know what I'm looking at) :) |

I think this could have been improved with a cleaner surface to set the rubber bands on. I would also have used a smaller aperture for a bit more depth of field, to include the closest part of the first bundle. This looks like a controlled environment, so there's no reason not to have the camera on a tripod of some sort and use the lowest light-gathering settings and control the light level. |

almost looks like rubber bands of some sort..
Nice and sharp too, great abstract one of my favs |

This is a really well executed macro shot, but not specificly abstract.
