I like how this essay moves effortlessly between gallery and outside, artificiality and reality, showing there is no difference. |

What an excellent word to build an essay around. I usually think of waste when I hear the word ephemera. Printed paper, cards, containers, pins, etc. to be discarded after viewing. Your essay isn̢۪t about things we can touch or hold, it̢۪s more about things we can see but can̢۪t possess. The first image sets the tone for this collection of observations. Moments like these temporarily surround us all the time but few appreciate them. Capturing, organizing, and presenting them in a small cohesive group brings awareness to amount of information we process on a daily basis. Images of as found and candid moments are what makes photography, as an art form, so attractive. These are often one time events that can̢۪t be recreated. You have presented us with a unique perspective that I do appreciate.
