 I did not go out with the sole intention of shooting this image but this place is like a magnet if you're anywhere near. The tide always leaves a different pattern of rocks and pools so you never know what's in store.
I wandered around for a while watching the light change and waiting for the wind to drop (for smoother reflections). When I arrived at this spot everything just came together. As I pressed the shutter button it almost felt like stealing.

Great composition and a wonderful scene. This is moderately underexposed on my screen (away from the unclouded sky), but that's my only objection. 7

OOOOOOOooooooooooo Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh so peaceful so WOW... So perfect!!! What software did you use to process this? I am having trouble with photomatix, they sent out an upgrade a while back, and I keep getting ghosting in clouds....

Very well done. So far the best of the images I loved on. There is a bit of a halo effect around the lighthouse, but not too much to be distracting.
