i know i'm not holding the camera with my hands, so it's not a true "selfie", but i set it up, framed it and had my wife press the shutter to get the picture because this wasn't just a challenge entry for me, it's a picture taken at the end of a very fun filled day at the end of "daddy day-camp week, 2014". our daycare closes down for 3 weeks in the summer, i take the middle week off, my wife and her parents get the book-end spots.
We were going to the park on this particular day and he said he wanted to go as "Lantern; like you daddy", so, despite wearing a Green Lantern shirt the day before, i took out my second GL tshirt to match his, and we had a fun day in our matching outfits, getting all sorts of compliments from other parents there about how cute we were in our set, and how much he resembled me aside from our clothes.
I frequently refer to him as Mini-Me, to which i get the response "i'm not mini-me daddy, i'm peter. silly daddy...", but despite what he says, he really is my mini-me.
