 Another from the Webster Park / Lake Ontario series. I love the lighting in this shot, and find the pier's piercing of the still lake creates interest. Hopefully this is seen as more than "just another sunset".

Yes, the pier definitely add interest. Its asymmetry and darkness throw off the entire composition just enough to add interest.

One thing i would like to mention. The tree at the left hand side seems a little distracting and would imho be better off cropped.

The rocks definatly add a new interest, the sky is quiet fascinating, the sun and clouds on the ocean doen't intrige me as much, but your there to take pictures of sunset, not choreograph it =). I love the look of the water.
