Lilies are surprisingly difficult to shoot, so I'm always looking for new ideas. I like this composition choice; looks like an alien ship landing.

contrary to what kiwinick said, I happen to really enjoy the selective focus. The first word that came to mind when I saw this image was "exquisite" and I'm really shocked that it didn't do much better. The bright colors are gorgeous.
