 With the number of storms we have had the last week, I thought this transition from bright, sunny day to dark storm clouds was just right for this week's contest.

The poistion of the power pole against the approaching clouds and it rising above the earth is pretty awesome. I would be hunting a hidey hole.

This reminds me of the aftermath of Christ' death. Cool photo. That can also signify a transition.

From your title, I assume your transition is the coming storm. However, I see a transition in the smallness of power pole against the immense powers of nature. Man's humble attempt at the transition of his environment.

sky is really hard to photograph well and keep the interest/ drama that made you photograph it in the first place.

Nice contrast of blue skies and dark clouds. The perfect amount of non-sky elements (mountain, tree, post).

Nice shot of changing weather. But man, that telephone pole sure is distracting. Maybe if were hidden behind those treees/bushes...
