| i hope the photographer gets this message.... EXCELLENT! i live in this neighborhood and see many photographers at this site capturing the incoming planes. this photo captures everything about that observatory and the absolute amazement one feels when watching these huge planes come in for their landing. this pic is as real as it gets. when driving on that road and one is coming at you.... whoa!!!! takes your breath away sometimes. im glad i came across, if i had voted it woulda been a 10, not cuz it would be bias but cuz this is a great shot! |

*Critique Club*
FIRST IMPRESSION: Great capture. Very impressive and deceptively difficult to pull off.
CHALLENGE: Meets the challenge perfectly.
COMPOSITION: Your composition is just about flawless. You've filled the frame perfectly. The combination of the angle of the plane and the angle of the post on the right side of the plane make it appear that your horizon is not level, but that's actually just an illusion. Still, I wonder if it would make sense to rotate the shot slightly clockwise to counteract that (this is just a suggestion, I did not actually try it).
TECHNICAL: Color balance, levels, esposure, DOF and other technical aspects are flawless. Lighting conditions for this shot were used well.
CONCLUSION: One of the best submissions this week, and there is little I can suggest to improve it. Congratulations on a great photograph!

| Nice catch. Good clarity on the plane. If the plane could somehow be positioned in the image a little lower and to the right, that might help the oerall composition. Nice entry. 7 md |

| This is an awesome photo and the title is good. But where is the \"Road\" sign that says your title. The road sign would have made this a 10+. By splitting hairs that it did not say \"traffic\" signs you can get in technically. But because of that I can only give it a 7. And I hate that because it is awesome. Fantastic photo. Maybe that\'s too harsh and it should be an 8. |

| Very nice! I had thought about doing something similar around our airport, but I don't think there's a vantage point nearly as great as this one! Well done. |

| My only slightly reservation is the angle of the sign. With the plane quite high, I think the eye naturally draws to the sign, which being so close to the border looks a bit skew. |

| i think you have all the right elements here but for some reason they don't seem to be framed right - maybe too tight/busy. looks like a cool place to watch the planes land from. ghana airways - excellent! |
