For those who asked about where the picture was taken:
The church is St. Stephen's Cathedral, which was started in the 12th century and finished in the 18th century. It's considered the centerpiece of Vienna. The roof is new, since the old one was destroyed during WW II. Many Viennese are fighting the encroachment of new architecture into the area, and they managed to force the remodelling of the new building in the foreground. (It used to look even more modernistic.) |

| I'd like to thank everyone for your comments. I'm going to play a bit with your cropping suggestions and the levels and contrast settings in Photoshop to try to improve it a bit. I'm also going to see if I can do something about the sharpness of the cathedral, since I selectively focussed on it and the fuzziness came in the resizing and jpeg compression stages of preparing it for submission. (I couldn't do much about the lighting, since this was the only day of the week that I could get there when it wasn't raining.) |

| nice juxtaposition, that is one zany looking cathedral! the colors seem a bit flat to me, I might like it more if it were taken at a different time of day with better, more contrasty lighting |

| use your levels and contrast commands to juice some more contrast out of this picture. it's strength are th ebold lines, and they need to be broought forward. |

| This reminds me of the Hilton hotel built right next to the church on Castle Hill in Budapest - The lighting is a bit on the dark side tho |

| Great contrast here of new and old. The two buildings are at the extreme ends of new age and old age. Very well done. |
