Both of my kids have been involved with Little League All-Stars this summer -- Kristi with 7/8 softball and Trav with 11/12 baseball.
Both were on District championship teams and earned the right to play in the State tournament. Today was Kristi's final. They lost to the team that won the championship, but was probably the 2nd best team there.
Trav's tournament begins Thursday. *IF* they were to win (and that is a HUGE if), they would earn the right to play in the regionals and then the World Series.
Anyway, we are at the ballfield, literally, everyday for several hours.
and I wouldn't have it any other way. :P
