 On Blueberry Hill

I spent about 45 mins with a plate full of heavy whipping cream, 4 blueberries, and a strawberry. I had a large bowl of water to wash the berries between takes and a towel to dry them.

Lighting was a large silver reflector two feet over the plate, clamped to a chair, and lit by two SB-600's sitting behind the plate pointing up at the reflector. (really wish I'd snapped a picture of the setup...)

I tried drops with a syringe, but they never really came out, then tried dropping the fruit, then added the spoon, then gave up and took what I had.

I believe this was the one and only time I tried the blueberry in the spoon.

Yes, this is cliche and overdone, but it is really well done and as such I am giving you my top pick (9).
As far as I know, this could be your very first attempt at this type of shot, and you just spent 6 hours straight on it. Just because it has been done before, doesn't have to mean it has been done by YOU before, and you did very well.
The moment, the lighting and the focus are spot on!
