Greetings from the Critique Club.

This is such a great photograph, I personally thought is would defiantly be in the top 10 but 11 is still really good especially in a tough challenge like this one. You did an amazing job of capturing the light at just the right time to create such warm coloring in the sky.

I am really glad you included the foreground in this piece. I took a class once that compared landscape shots that included a foreground to those that do not and the difference is huge. The placement of the subject in the center is nice and really good that it is not dead center.

Your portfolio is amazing and I look forward to many more great shots from you.

It's such a great scene, except that foreground with is SO distracting. stick the horizon at the bottom 1/3-ish, do away with the rocks and walk away with at least an 8. As is, 6.

the cove, you say.
as much as i want to love this image (purple being my favorite color and dramatic skies being one of the things i love seeing the most in pictures), this just feels very off to me. i do not recall ever witnessing a purple sunset before, so i'm having a hard job mentally not thinking of this as being over processed.
the bottom 20% (roughly) of the image is also taking away from it in my opinion, and i can live with the silhouette in this as you have not made it a major component of the image.

i actually google'd "purple sunset" and found a striking number of images...now you have given me something new to look for, i must experience one of these myself somewhere.
and after all of that, i'm giving you an 8.
