WOW, another awesome bell curve.

Thank you all for your comments/suggestions.

Yes, the camera says F4.0. Actually, the G1 will only go as small as F8.0, so a F22 is quite impossible. I'm hoping for a surprise birthday present though, so who knows.

I have been teaching photography for over 15 years and have critiqued thousands of pictures in competitions and student work. After studying your photograph and the information provided I need to ask...Are you sure you shot this picture at F4.0? An F stop of this size will normally give you a very shallow depth of field. Your photograph has great depth of field which usually indicates an F stop of F22 or higher. Back to the picture...Not being able to read the sign the image intrigued me to look at the whole picture to see what it might be saying. The picture has many lines going in all directions, which is disturbing to the eye. In this case there is just to much going on and all the construction work distracts from the sign. Yet, you need the constuction to explain the sign. So basically you were caught between a rock and a hard spot. The color, focus, and angle all work for you,and you deserved the score if not even higher. Keep up the good work. John Gill

More like, "Godzilla! He's coming!"

I could just imagine what's coming down on top of me from this sign! Really different, indeed.

I love the sign, or should I say "OMG, What a funny sign". Composition is fairly good - it's a shame you couldn't get a crane in the background somehow. Focus is also pretty good.

Just too too funny. Great idea for a sign. The focus is good and crisp and the background doesn't detract but adds to the feel of the sign. The only problem I am having is the angle of the shot. The sign is on an angle leaning the right, the scaffolding is leaning left, and camera doesn't follow either. I wonder ehat it might have looked like with the sign perpendicular which would have the scaffolding kinda leaning and ready to fall on the sign. Just a thought. 8.

I love that face. Wish there were signs like that around here.

it doesn't look like the construction has reached the height where this sign is necessary yet - which makes the photo even more funny ;-)

if there is nothing 'up' then i would have added more sky to the photo to highlight this humorous aspect of the composition.

I would have prefered the verticals to be vertical rather than the topleaning to the left.
