| Religious themed photographs don't tend to do well on DPC, and I'm betting this shot is no exception, but feel free to let me know if I'm wrong. Now, *I* don't have a problem with it, but I *do* have a problem with the cross on the bible page. To me, it ruins the feel of the photograph, the light it is reflecting is harsh and distracting, and I don't think it really serves a purpose for the challenge (you filled that role with the bible). It might, to other people, also come across as the preachy straw that broke the camel's back. Nice lighting on the page, and good clarity and DOF. Get rid of the cross, and it would be a higher vote from me. |
