Congratulations on your 6th place finish, Brian! This is such a beautiful shot...but of course, it has to be with Gracie as your model! :o)

Thank you for all the wonderful comments, and constructive criticism. I learn a bit everyday by entering challenges, and that only makes me look a little further into my efforts! Thanks to Gracie girl too! I would use her for every contest, but that'd give me away! My best to you all!

Haha! I thought is was you! My favorite of the challenge. Once again, you floor me with something that *should* be hum-drum cliche by now, but in your hands remains fresh and fascinating.

Well, I finally found my own favorite for this challenge! Very nice work. Effective composition and juxtaposition between innocence and the trapped feeling from the ropes. The eye color adds to the feel of innocence, too. Marvelous work! 10

I do love this one. The blues are excellent. The duotone (pinkish/magenta?) works awesome with this. Great work. AWESOME

returning for commentsA nice image, yet i would have cropped out the fingers to concentrate on the eyes. Bumping up.

You really shouldn't tie babies up like that. A simple collar and chain will suffice. :)
Nice photo!

you,ve caught the eyes just right and the tone of the image is nice, although the fingers are a bit distracting to me, good luck

Beautiful shot of a beautiful subject. I love the composition, and the duotone with selective desat works well for this image. Really nice job.

I think this is well taken and the selective desat is nice. The pose is a bit strange to me. The rope doesn't convey anything to me about innocence. Maybe I am just missing it. Good photo.

Marvelous photograph of the child's eyes. So blue, so natural looking. Like the duotone (?) tint used, it really contributes to "soft" feeling of the photograph, while being in sharp focus. Excellent lighting. A number 10!

This is just.. so simply stunning. I have, a good idea whose photo this is, but I'll wait for the surprise. Those eyes.. My heart just melts.

Great contrast and B&W tones. Once again, I bet you get people complaining about 'cliche selective desat' but I think this is beautiful.

The Innocence and the ropes don't go together. Nice shot tho.
