 Great Egret at Nummy Island in NJ, USA. Got about 10-12 shots of him hopping about but in very few could I keep both the bird and the reflection in the image. 200mm on zoom.

I think in going for the reflection some intimacy was lost. Still a lovely shot. Good luck in the challenge.

The bird's ponderously graceful take-off, and its gauzy reflection, appear within a somewhat dream-like, light blue setting. As the moment unfolds the bird disappears upward out of the frame, and its reflection glides across the water, likewise disappearing. That's the continuing charm of the image.
