Critique Club Comments by Grayce M. Dillon aka Gracious
I love the background here. Both the color and the silhouetted trees are wonderful. The signs are nicely contrasted against the bg. The red and white color is is vibrant and the shapes are good.
Exposure, composition, and focus are all good. This is quite amusing as well.
Nice job Ben!

| That is just a killer sign! I like the extra purple, makes for a dramatic sky (and it didn't hurt the caution signs either). Technical issues..none, very good focus, framing and exposure. I just plain like this shot. 9 Swash |

LOL, a wonderful combination of the two road signs. Even without reading the size mismatch is the first thing I noticed. I like the color and darkness of the background: it's more like a surface on which the main-objects rest. Like in a studio-shot with colored and textured background.
Because you probably used the flash, the sign appear a little flat, more like a graphic rather then a real life object. I can't say if this is good or bad.

| You've managed to get the colours incredibly vivid in this photo - although I believe it's a totally legal manipulation. The sky is a lovely outcome of this - I really like the colour against the silohuetted trees. The "giant toad" title is also very funny - well done. |

| I really like this shot a lot, the time of night you took it worked well with the background coloring and really brought your sign out. The focus is excellent on the sign and the background trees do not detract any attention from the main subject. I also like your placement of the sign it is very pleasing to the eyes. Hmmm something constructive.hmmm let me think, I guess the only thing is I would like to see the sign post a little better, all that you can see is a tiny white line. I don;t know if it is from color editing or just not enough flash, but the signs kinda seem to float on air.9. |

| There are certainly some odd signs popping up in this challenge. Nice find - I think the signs are a little too bright in contrast to the rest of the picture, though. |
