Critique Club Comment
A nice photo and quite an apt title.
IMO, a tighter crop would have been more effective, and since the title directs you to look at the face, maybe a shot of just the face to focus on the highlights in the eyes and the flick of the tongue.
While the lighting is Okay in this image the shadow play is a bit distracting and IMO subtracts from the photos effectivness.
Still a nice image and nicely in focus. Well done. |

| A closer tighter shot with just the animal's face would have had more impact. The surroundings do not add anything to the shot. |

| Great exposure and moment. I'm not too hot about the wood but these animals are testy and any good pic you can get is worth it. 6. |
