Super crisp image, wonderful colours and moment caught. Sharp eye and obligatory catch-light. Pity about the OOF stalk in front of the bird. That's wildlife photography! Uncontrollable and impossible to direct. |

Nicely seen!
I wish the blurred foreground thingy weren't obscuring his/her body... and I wish the composition put the eyes on a third, but... still a 6 from me. |

Ha, great timing and adds some real interest. I wonder if you could have pushed the saturation slightly, there is a slightly 'muddy' feel to the photo as presented. This looks to be an Oyster Catcher, and their orange does tend to be very bright. |
