 This is my little girl during her piano lesson. She has only been taking lessons since last October or so. Right now she is working on memorizing Heddiwegs Theme from Harry Potter. I came in for an impromptu performance from memory and she got a bit nervous. I was sitting behind her but could totally see her expressions in the reflection of the piano. Me sitting there listening had her messed up and not doing well. She finished and was near in tears. I asked her to play it again so I could get a picture. This was the first shot. She knew I was taking pics and so thought I wasn't really listening to her play. I most certainly was listening, but because she didn't think I was she played it well. She came home all excited about the recital. The Saturday of Easter weekend she plays it in front of people with no music sheets. And she is excited about it! I am so proud of my little girl.

And I have this picture. I love this picture. My wife loves this picture. Rowan sort of loves this picture. If you look you can see the stress on her face.. And yet i still love this picture. I love my little girl.

And a 7.1 on the first day is nothing to complain about either. Love the iPhone and snapseed baby!

This is beautiful, Tim! The story and the photo. Not even as much the story about her piano playing, but the story of this adorable girl being so firmly planted in a family whose daddy adores her so much! She is blessed beyond how ever so perfectly she plays a piano piece :). Congrats on an honorable mention with this!
