Composition-Content
Your composition is great here, it is a very "clean" image, nice and simple. Th positioning of the coffee maker is good, without including the whole thing, but understandable to the viewer what it is. The tilt of the mug also adds interest and enhances the overall composition. I think that overall the choice of excluding a dairy product was a good one and added a new twist to the challenge, but it might have cost you a few votes, as the challenge was to photograph something dairy. Personally, I like it.
Tehnical
Focus is sharp and I like the use of grain, which I think adds atmosphere to the shot. Also, the blue tint is good, not overdone but adds another element to the overall content of the picture. I like the lighting here, which adds a bit of contrast between the dark and light areas, perhaps a little more light on the right side would be good, which would decrease the uneven grain.
My Opinion
Great shot, I agree with Patella, kind of a stock shot, could be used in advertising. Good Luck in the next challenge. |

Good idea and composition. It just seems really grainy though. Is the light level a little too low? Nice take on the challenge. |

Mmmm.... coffee. Everything about this shot is well done - the lighting, camera angle, composition, and the processing you did to get these colours. I like the grain, although I'm sure others have commented on it. I'm giving this 10. |

Makes me think of a stock photography shot -- which is not a bad thing. Nice sense of motion by shooting at the angle you used. Wondering how hammered you'r getting for not using any actual dairy in the shot but just alluding to it. Works for me, but then I'm not a voter so.... |

Is this coffee? I guess I don't see the connection to dairy in this shot. The title even suggests that you left the cream out. The shot is good, a bit grainy, but nice focus and clarity. Good angle and framing/cropping. Even nice lighting. I could be brain dead tonight, but I still don't see the dairy. Good luck in the challenge. |

I like the perspective of this shot. Is it a little grainy on purpose? I'm not totally against that. Just curious. Nice shot, only wish you would've shown more of the coffeemaker - Inspzil |
