 Perhaps not my best photo, but certainly the most tasteful until now! Lol, due to the fantastic smell everyone was thinking I was making apple pie, but it was "just" caramelized apple with rum :)

Did give it a try in the Masters' Free Study III

Very tasty looking. But yes, the figure to ground ratio doesn't really work. Hard to see where the food ends and the plate begins.

I always look forward to your contribution to the Weekly Series.
This looks so appetizing as is your usual offering, but I think you know it might have done better
in competition if the background was a bit darker than the dessert to set it off.
