 Detail from a couple of small plants in a vase that my grandson gave me last year. I've kept the soil moist and the vase parked in the window each day, but only within the last six weeks has the ivy taken off, adding a dozen leaves. As I type this, the smallest bit near the end has two more tiny ones beginning.

I took this inage in response to some tremendous urging from the In the Spirit of: docpjv thread in the forums. At the end of a member's life, the fighting spirit of this ivy represents my tribute to Peter.

2/15 - New personal best... I don't know what to say.

I see what you say, a little bit -- but I actually do see this as journalistic. It looks like a photo plate from a botany book. It's quite a lovely study.
