Greetings from the Critique Club :)
Hi Kathleen :)
This is a beautiful shot. The pathway leading into the landscape is a very strong eye element in this image. Your Canon does a beautiful job with the exposure also. I would love to know what kind of lens you are using here also :) I can't really see much room for improvement on this image at all. It looks like you probably used a polarizer on this shot, which was a good choice. The sky seems to be a little deeper blue in the upper right. That could be caused by two different things. 1 - the sun could have been coming in from the left, or 2 - your polarizer could have been twisted slightly the wrong way. Turning a circular poliarzer changes the polarization... If you are using a linear polarizer, it could have been slightly off correct orientation...
Another possibility with this shot would have been to get the camera slightly closer to the road here and shoot at a little higher angle also.. that can create a really nice effect in a scene like this :)
Keep up the great work :)

Gorgeous contrast between blue sky and yellow and brown ground. Looks like the horizon should be tilted to the left a few degrees. Nice shot and good luck. Jacko. |

Gorgeous colours, lovely composition that puts the viewer right on that path, looking into the horizon. Nice work. |

The horizon is too 50/50 for me but a good capture. |

i'd like to see the horizon higher (top 3rd of frame) and more foreground. or consequently, if the sky was amazing, put horizon at bottom 3rd. |

Wonderful colors and good capture of the textures. I like how the road leads from the bottom of the frame, giving an "entry" point. Maybe if it was framed so that the road curved into the picture instead of out of it, it may be more effective, at least to me. |

I like this shot and how the road leads off in to the distance. The mountains/hills in the distance look a little out of focus to me, could be the distance? But overall really nice shot.7 |

The title fits the picture and I must say you are lucky to have such a view. I love the contrast between the sky and land with the border of dark hills and mountains seperating them. Great work and good luck. |

Very nice but the Road leads you out of the picture. |

This is the first "stunning" photo I've voted on so far. It's such a simple photo, yet is says so much. The road/path is composed perfectly, the trees on the left are perfect and putting the horizon centered all work well. The colours are also lovely and natural, which suit the subject. |

The road going off the edge of the picture moves your eye off the road. It would look better to have the road end at your subject or go back into the picture. |
