Didn't get to comment on this image during the challenge. It's amazing how much life you've wrung out of this barren scene. The tree is stalwart, the bird is jauntily perched and there's more going on up above. I like the way the water merges foggily into the gray sky. Every bit of open space is worth its presence.

No offese, but I don't see this as being a landscape. It's good and I quite like it, but well there's no land, unless you are counting the tree. I don't see it as a seascape either.

IMO this would be a much more powerful image if the bird at the top was cropped out. Nice!
