 Took this during a snowstorm. It was coming down so hard that the auto focus was having problems. I like the effect of the white flakes against the eagle's dark wings.

Thanks to all for the ribbon and kind comments. When I first arrived in Fulton for the photo shoot, it started snowing... and snowing... and snowing... Initially I thought that the 300 mile drive was wasted time, but as I started shooting the contrast between these might birds and the white snow flakes gave me hope that I may get a few decent shots.

Beautiful! I love the detail that comes through in spite of the snow. Seeing the feathers lift and the intensity on the face is great. My favorite in this challenge (and not just because I like eagles either!)

Very nice shot, would have been proud to have taken this myself. Only thing that drags it down for me is the framing, a bit too central for my taste, but still an 8 in my books
